Real Cheviot 1's took an early lead within the opening minutes of the game, an Andy Scott opener provided hope for the home side.
With the match being forced to be restarted at half time the Chevy boys were in for a long day, 4 early first half goals proved to be the vital key that opened the scoring bank. A thunderous strike By Rowan Syed-Tollan from outside of the box was the defining moment from the young Chevy side.
The weaker side of the tie, Sidlaw 8 managed to bring back the score line to 9-8 however with only seconds to go it simply was not enough.
Real Cheviot 1's continue to stay the only team in Scotland to stay unbeaten in all competitions, a feat that manager Nathaniel Woolley puts down to "the ambition from my boys to go out there every week and win!"
In a post match interview Woolley had this to say "It was a hard game no can deny that but thanks to the ongoing spirit of Cheviot we pulled through"
